Menox is a liquid embolic system proposed to be intended for pre-surgical Embolization of brain Arterio-Venous Malformations (bAVM).
The liquid Menox comprises of:
- A mixture of Ethylene Vinyl alcohol co-polymer (EVOH) dissolved in Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO)
- Micronized tantalum powder suspended in the liquid polymer/DMSO mixture
